Due to a packed schedules of a student, this blog was on hiatus as long as all of us could remember.

On behalf of the Board of committee, i apologized for our incompetence in making sure this blog stays updated and 'alive'.

Since the start of the semester, PHYTAS had been organizing few programs and more is coming. We are also proud to announce that even PNC realized PHYTAS's existence & compliment us on our several achievements on organizing events that challenges Puncak Alam's students mentally & physically.

We are also proud to invites all Physiotherapy students to join us on Facebook! Another alternatives that we tried to bring up, so that all the members could speak their mind & be heard not only by the committee but also by all the students & even lecturers.

Non-PHYTAS members are also invited to become a fan. Thus, being updated on PHYTAS's current activities.

Hopefully, PHYTAS would always be a committee that unites us all. ;)

Salam imtihan, salam perjuangan.

Pertama-pertamanya, bersyukur ke hadrat ilahi atas limpah dan kurnianya kepada kita semua atas segala nikmat yang telah diberikan.

Alhamdulillah, pada kali ini, semester 2009 bakal melabuhkan tirainya, peperiksaan akhir akan menjelang tidak lama lagi.

Saya wakil daripada exco kerohanian Phytas 2009/2010 ingin mengambil kesempatan mengucapkan selamat menduduki peperiksaan bermula 26.Oktober.2009 nanti.

Sungguh, pada saat ini, pasti ada di antara sahabat2 yang sudah mengalami ‘tachycardia’.. asyik memikirkan, bila lah nak cover subjek itu, subjek ini..ya allah, stress nya..semua tak buat lagi, assignment pun ada lagi..practical exam lagi…dan macam2.

Begitulah lumrah dan fitrahnya…

saya sekadar ingin mengingatkan agar sahabat2 semua tidak kalut dan cemas mahupun risau dalam menghadapi peperiksaan, bertenanglah.insyaallah, andai sahabat2 semua sudah pun bersedia, pasti tidak menjadi masalah.

bagi yang belum bersedia, maka mulakan langkah jihad kalian.. lakukan yg termampu. jangan stress..dan jaga kesihatan. dan yang paling penting dan utama, jg hubungan diri dengan allah, tingkatkan ibadah dlm ruang masa yg terhad ini.

di sini,saya titipkan sedikit tips menghadapi peperiksaan.

1.	Datanglah dengan bersedia dan lebih awal
	Bawalah semua alat tulis yang anda perlukan seperti pensel, pen, kalkulator, jam (tangan), pemadam, pembaris, dan lain-lainnya. Kelengkapan ini akan membantu anda untuk memberi sepenuh tumpuan sepanjang masa peperiksaan.

2.	Tenang dan percayakan diri sendiri
	Ingatkan diri anda bahawa anda sudah bersedia dan akan menghadapi peperiksaan dengan baik.

3.	Bersantailah tapi berhati-hati
	Pastikan meja dan kerusi anda dalam keadaan baik dan selesa untuk anda menulis. Duduk dalam keadaan menegak.

4.	Prebiu soalah-soalan terlebih dahulu
	Luangkan 10% dari keseluruhan waktu peperiksaan untuk membaca soalan-soalan secara mendalam, tandakan kata-kata kunci dan tetapkan berapa lama masa yang diperlukan untuk menjawab setiap soalan. Rancangkan untuk menjawab soalan yang mudah dahulu, baru soalan yang sukar.. Ketika anda membaca soalan, catatkan juga idea-idea yang muncul yang akan digunakan sebagai jawapan.

5.	Jawab soalan secara strategik
	Mulakan dengan menjawab soalan mudah yang anda ketahui, kemudian dengan soalan-soalan yang mempunyai markah yang tinggi. Soalan terakhir yang harus anda jawab adalah: soalan paling sukar, yang memerlukan masa yang panjang untuk menulis jawapannya, mempunyai markah sedikit .
6.	Semasa menjawab soalan aneka pilihan, ketahuilah jawapan yang patut dipilih
	Mula-mula, abaikan jawaban yang anda tahu salah. Tekalah pilihan jawapan ketika tidak ada pilihan jawapan yang dapat anda abaikan. Jangan mengubah suatu pilihan jawapan jika anda tidak pasti kerana pilihan pertama jawapan anda biasanya betul, jangan menggantinya kecuali anda yakin dengan pembetulan yang anda lakukan.

7.	Semasa menjawab soalan esei, fikirkan dulu jawapannya sebelum menulis
	Buat rangka karangan secara ringkas untuk esei dengan mencatat dahulu beberapa idea yang akan ditulis. Kemudian susun idea-idea tersebut mengikut susunan yang mana penting atau perlu dibincangkan dulu.

8.	Semasa menjawab soalan esei, jawab pada persoalannya
	Tulis frasa pokok pada frasa pertama. Gunakan perenggan pertama sebagai pengenalan esei anda. Gunakan perenggan seterusnya untuk membincangkan isi-isi utama secara terperinci. Sokong isi anda dengan penerangan yang jelas, contoh, atau petikan dari buku atau media lain jika perlu.

9.	Sisihkan 10% waktu anda untuk memeriksan jawapan
	Periksa jawapan; elakkan keinginan untuk cepat meninggalkan dewan atau bilik setelah anda menjawab semua soalan ujian. Pastikan anda telah menjawab semua soalan. Baca sekali lagi jawapan anda untuk memeriksa ejaan, struktur bahasa dan tanda baca. Untuk jawapan matematik, pastikan tidak ada kesilapan (misalnya salah meletakkan tanda titik perpuluhan). Bandingkan jawapan matematik anda yang sebenarnya dengan pengiraan ringkas.

10.	Analisa jawapan anda
	Setiap peperiksaan akan membantu anda dalam mempersiapkan diri untuk peperiksaan berikutnya. Tetapkan strategi mana yang sesuai dengan anda. Tentukan strategi mana yang tidak menjadi dan ubahlah. Gunakan kertas peperiksaan sebelumnya ketika belajar untuk peperiksaan akhir. Tapi yang penting sekali jangan lupa BERDOA!!! betulkan niat dan lakukanlah hanya keranaNya. InsyaAllah Dia akan membantu.

Get in your best RAYA clothes & don't forget to flaunt it well. Who knows? you might just end up being best dressed for the night. :D

Oh. and don't forget the "biskut Raya". I mean, it's not quite "Raya-like" without all the varieties of biscuits right?

Kefhal antum semua? Ana doakan semoga semua adik2 dan sahabat2 sentiasa berada di dalam nikmat sihat, iman dan islam. Semoga hidup kita ni sentiasa dihiasi dengan senyuman dan keceriaan.

Sebelum memulakan bicara..izinkan kami dari crew kerohanian PHYTAS memohon jutaan kemaafan kepada semua di atas kelalaian kami dalam melaksanakan amanah yang diberi.. maaf pada sahabat2 yang sentiasa mendambakan dan dahagakan makanan buat jiwa2 kalian yang sentiasa perlu diperbaharui dan ditarbiyah agar tetap istiqamah di jalan kebenaran dan ketaatan.

Sedar tak sedar kita dah berada di ambang ramadhan yang kita semua nanti2 kan dan rindui. So, apa persediaan yang kita dah buat untuk melalui nyer agar ramadhan kita kali ni benar2 bermakna?

Specialnyer bulan Ramadhan ni...

Seperti yang kita sedia maklum bahawa bulan ramadhan merupakan bulan untuk umat islam menunaikan ibadah puasa seperti yang disyariatkan dalam Al-Quran malah diperkuatkan lagi dengan hadith2 drpd Rasulullah s.a.w. Banyak sekali hikmah berpuasa ni tapi untuk coretan kali ini ana ingin menjelaskan satu faktor je iaitu ukhwah.

Ini adalah salah satu faktor yang specialnyer dalam bulan ramadhan ni iaitu kita dapat mengeratkan ukhwah di antara kita. Aktiviti berbuka puasa secara jamaie, menunaikan solat terawih secara berjemaah, mendengar kuliah atau tazkirah beramai-ramai dan melaksanakan perintah ALLAH bersama-sama menjadikan ukhwah di antara kita semakin mesra dan jitu. Tidakkah ini yang di idam2kan sesama kita saudara seislam?

Bayangkanlah jika kita melakukan ibadah ini secara individu, kita hanya dapat hikmah dari sudut jasmani, rohani, emosi dan intelek sahaja. Walhal, kekuatan ukhwah di antara umat islam adalah simbol perpaduan dan kegagahan yang boleh menakutkan musuh2 islam. Di samping itu, kita juga dapat mentarbiyah diri menjadi seorang mukmin yang di redhai ALLAH.

Ayuhlah sahabat2.. moga ramadhan kali ini benar2 menjadi madrasah tarbiyah untuk diri kita menjadi lebih baik.. ALLAH tidak memandang kepada hasil tetapi usaha yang berterusan yang kita laksanakan.

Seperti yang telah diumumkan semasa perjumpaan semua pelajar Fisioterapi sebelum ini. PHYTAS telah mengumumkan bahawa pemilihan Presiden PHYTAS seterusnya akan dilakukan melalui sistem pilihan raya. Berikut adalah maklumat berkaitan pilihanraya tersebut.

1. Penamaan Calon Presiden PHYTAS '09~'10

Tarikh: 16hb Julai 2009 ~ 7hb Ogos 2009

Syarat-syarat:
~Terbuka kepada semua pelajar Fisioterapi UiTM
terutamanya pelajar semester 3 & 5 (Degree/Diploma) & pelajar OBE
~Calon haruslah berdedikasi, berkepimpinan serta mempunyai wawasan untuk memajukan PHYTAS.

Prosedur:
~Sila ambil borang penamaan calon dari Muhammad Afiq Jamarudin@ Zaharudin
~Sertakan bersama kad matriks & gambar
~Bawa bersama seorang pencadang & penyokong
tak semestinya calonkan diri sendiri :)

Perhatian!~
Jika tiada sebarang penamaan calon dibuat sepanjang tempoh tersebut, SPR PHYTAS berhak menggunakan kaedah lain untuk melantik calon.

a huge apologies from us, the comittee members for the orientation day. As it happens, the program had been postponed twice due to unavoidable circumstances. We, apparently can't go against the HEP orders.

Reasons.
The first date was postponed due to HEP's Modul that involves the diploma students part 1.
The second date was postponed due to UiTM's sudden decision to move forward the mid term break due to the H1N1 outbreaks. Thus, all the programs on the weekends must be either canceled/postponed.

I hope this would answers all the questions. As for the new date for orientation. Here are the deets:

Date: 9th of August, 2009.
Time: 7.00 am
Venue: FSK7

All the rules & orders for the juniors remains the same as announced during the Ice breaking Session. We are looking forward to have fun with the newcomers in Physiotherapy Program. For those planning to skip this event. Think twice. :)

Hari Terbuka Pelajar Fisioterapi 2009 -The review-

we arrived at Crystal Bay Chalet, Teluk Batik around 1pm. the boys went for Friday Prayers after checking in.

at 3pm, we departed to TLDM, Lumut to set up the booths etc for the big day tomorrow.

however, we only got the permission to enter the premises at 3.45 pm.

after we're done setting up what ever necessary, we proceed with the rehearsal for the opening ceremony which would take place the next morning.

Our emcees are Nur Syahira and Alifsafar from HS224/02 and a spontaneous choir was formed during the rehearsals to performed the national anthem and UiTM's Wawasan Setia Pelajar.

around 7pm, we're out of TLDM, but we stop by Lumut to pick up our HS224/04 students who willingly travel on their own due to some problems that could not be avoided.

at 9.30 pm, another short briefing was held to clear up any inquiries.

28 March 2009

the participants gathered as early as 6.30am. *thanks for the cooperation*

arrived at TLDM's gate around 7am.

hence, the mission begins ~!

we starts of with the opening ceremony which was launched by KDR Abdullah bin Baki.
followed straight by the exhibition.

earlier in the morning, there was quite a crowd. however, it started to subside after lunch.

as predicted, people are practically queuing to get a massage for quite a bargain. all of our masseur had quite a day. :)

the job is then , accomplished at around 5pm .

later on, the participants had a leisure time, while some of them helped with the preparation for the BBQ night.

the BBQ, although a bit late, was quite satisfying~
all the participants actually had the chance to bond with each other.

clearly enough, it's a long day for all of us.

Starts the morning up fresh with the aerobics session~

only then, the participants delightedly had their breakfast.
no doubts, exhausted with all the movements ;p

it is only then, we get on with the telematch.

after several games, we got the news that the trip on the ship was confirmed.
so, we get the prize giving ceremony done and then back to our chalet to change and pack up.

then, we headed back to TLDM.

The students of Physiotherapy was honored to get the opportunity to visit
KD Seri Indera Sakti.

KD Sri Indera Sakti is 4,300-ton, 100-meter multi-role support ship. The ship was sent to the Somalian water to take over the role of the similar KD Mahawangsa to fight piracy in the Gulf of Aden in December 2008. In the same month, it successfully came to the aid of Chinese crane ship MV Zhenhua 4.

Around 4pm, we start our journey back to Kolej Alamanda.

In physiotherapy programme, there's a course that focus on the student's management and leadership skills. Management and Professional Issues in Physiotherapy (PHT437) is a 100% assessment course.

The 1st year students of Bachelor in Physiotherapy (Hons) which are taking the course this semester are given the task to organize a health promotion programme as part of the assessment.

There would be Health Services (massage, Electrical Stimulation etc), Blood Donation & Physiotherapy Promotion.

Four people were selected to present our association.
yet, it was not just a holiday to them, but an experience to remember.
:)

DAY 1

We arrived at Kampung Air Papan at around 4pm.
It was kind of behind the schedule, but it was due to a little hitch up about the journey.

as soon as arrived, begins the opening ceremony.
Speeches were made by the Head of the Village, and welcoming us with a broad smile.
then, all the contestant, were separated and divided to our very own foster families.

approximately, there was about 32 foster families available.

then , we had the chance to get along with our foster families, meaning leisure with. :)

later, all of us had to gather at the Surau for our next activity, which are reciting, Tahlil, prayers and a little dinner.
it ends around 10pm, due that, everyone got back to their own foster home and had their rest.

DAY 2

First and foremost, it was the preparation of many kinds of booth at the Balai Raya, Kampung Air Papan.
we arrived there with our foster families and introduced them to Faculty of Health Sciences and what we do.
There was a lot of booth present there. plus, all the foster families are welcome to visit one by one and get a little treatment from the booth visited. they also have the chance to win some of the lucky draw, that is if they are lucky enough. :p

Booth present on that very day was:

they had tests for glucose level, cholesterol level, high blood pressure and more .
Also, available was blood donation and blood types.
they also have various exhibition about blood disease, the types, the examples and more
plus, they have microscope features of abnormal papsmear.

Then, after the booth event, we were involved in making our own "bubur lambuk" with the help of our foster families.

DAY 3

we were asked to gather nearby a jungle entrance and start our mission for jungle trekking.

after jungle trekking, we were to packed our bags and attend the closing ceremony to bid farewell to our foster families and gave them a little appreciation.

later on, photography session!

and soon, head back to Kolej Alamanda, Petaling Jaya.

Review of the Survival Camp PHYTAS '09

26th February 09

12.30pm: Left Kolej Alamanda

2 buses had been prepared for the trip
The lecturers that are willing enough to join the camping trip was Mr Bahman, Mrs Maria, Mr Vikram & Mr Romizan

2.30pm: Finally arrived at Latta Charok, Janda Baik.

Hence, we walk to the camp site that was located about 300 meters from where the bus had left us to hike.
Then, there had been a few briefing from our "caretaker", Mr Mazlin Othman, from Team Tact
All the electronic devices, dangerous stuff, purses and wallets, also watches was "being held captive".
Unfortunately, all the males had to do a little bit of detention. :)
Adding to it, eventually the female had joined the detention, too. (Due to disobeying orders)
After that, only we were allowed to perform prayers and attend to ourselves.

There was supposed to be a night walk activity , but , due to heavy rain , it was postponed.
Instead, we have divided ourselves in 8 small groups in the rain, each consists of 10 person in a group. this is also due to disobeying order.
we make rotation according to the groups that had been voted in .

then , we were divided into 2 big groups; one of the group went for the 'Kerubung Terbang' and another went for the 'Rempuh Tiang' activity.
'Kerubung Terbang' is a flying fox activity, while 'Rempuh Tiang' is a low rope challenge.

12.15-ish am: went Friday prayers

3.00-ish pm: The group exchange their activities , from 'Kerubung Terbang' to 'Rempuh Tiang' and vice versa.

6.00-ish pm: 'Blind Trail'

was lead by Akmal (HS224/04)
apparently the lecturers had join the facilitators to be the culprit of 'Blind Trail'
Participants was splashed by muds, poked and hit by sticks and etc. the culprit also , try to mislead them in a few attempts

7.30-ish pm: Freshen up ourselves

A little reminder to all that is involved with the Survival Camp PHYTAS :

pack you bags lightly. it's not a trip to Europe :)
leave all the fancy clothes behind , you are going in to the jungle , not some five star hotels =) you don't to ruin them , do you ?
have you jotted down the things that is required to bring to the camp from the notice paste on the PHYTAS board ?
make sure that you make a list of the things that you are bringing to the camp and check it before you left the camp ; A CHECKLIST is important !
make sure that you bring the things to perform prayers , too .
oh oh , don't forget to bring water in a bottle to ! you'll be exhausted from all the 'surviving' you were about to do :D
and even cooking stencils ?
checked your toiletries yet ?
windbreaker or jackets is a must-bring ! you don't want to be freezing at night !
the most important for us , as being part of the Health Science students , will be : The First Aid .
keep all your important needs in a waterproof container; a plastic for example .
bring along your charming and crazy personalities too ! :D

May all of you have the best time there and do , actually learn the qualities of the camping motives and make the relationships between all PHYTAS members closer .
so , loosen up and have fun ! :D

Tidak ada lagi luahan kata-kata untuk menggambarkan kemarahan dan kesedihan kita dengan apa yang berlaku di bumi para anbiya' ini.

Menurut Syeikh al Qaradawi, jika kita tidak mampu memberi kekuatan kepada saudara kita di Palestin, adalah menjadi tugas kita untuk melemahkan Israel dan sekutunya. Sekiranya kelemahan musuh tidak tercapai kecuali dengan boikot, maka kita wajib memboikot mereka. Kita semua mesti bersatu menetang penceroboh. Kita bersatu delam Islam, termasuklah kesatuan iman kepada Sharia'ah, kesatuan kepada Qiblat, dan kesatuan dalam kesengsaraan dan harapan. Allah swt berfirman: "Sungguh, inilah agama kamu, agama yang satu." (Qur'an, 21:92)

Allah berfirman lagi: "Maka bertaqwalah kamu kepada Allah menurut kesanggupanmu" (Qur'an, 64:16)

Apa yang perlu kita buat ?
Jawapannya ialah boikot barangan Yahudi dan Israel dan sekutunya !!
